Partial Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy
At MySpareMarket, we strive to provide a smooth and reliable shopping experience for every rider. To reduce fake orders, cancellations, and Return to Origin (RTO) shipments while continuing to offer the convenience of Cash on Delivery (COD), we provide Partial Cash on Delivery (Partial COD) on eligible orders.
By choosing the Partial COD payment option, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Eligibility:
- Partial COD is available only on selected orders, subject to product eligibility, delivery location, and courier serviceability.
- Orders are eligible under the following advance payment structure:
- Orders up to ₹1,000: ₹200 advance payment.
- Orders above ₹1,000 and up to ₹2,000: ₹500 advance payment.
- Orders above ₹2,000 and up to ₹5,000: ₹1000 advance payment.
- The remaining order amount must be paid to the courier partner at the time of delivery.
MySpareMarket reserves the right to enable or disable Partial COD for any order without prior notice.
2. Advance Payment:
The advance payment collected under the Partial COD payment option is intended to confirm the order and cover logistics costs associated with processing and shipping.
The applicable advance amount is:
- ₹200 for eligible orders up to ₹1,000.
- ₹500 for eligible orders above ₹1,000 and up to ₹2,000.
- ₹1000 for eligible orders above ₹2,000 and up to ₹5,000.
This advance amount will be adjusted against your total order value.
3. Non-Refundable Advance
This policy applies only to orders placed using the Partial COD payment option.
The advance amount paid under Partial COD (₹200, ₹500, ₹1000 depending on the order value) is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Cancellation requested immediately after placing the order.
- Customer changes their mind after ordering.
- Duplicate or accidental orders.
- Cancellation before dispatch.
- Cancellation after dispatch.
- Refusal to accept the shipment at the time of delivery.
- Customer unavailable during delivery attempts.
- Incorrect, incomplete, or invalid delivery address or contact information.
- Delivery failure due to customer-related reasons.
- Return to Origin (RTO) shipments.
- Any other customer-initiated cancellation or delivery failure.
4. Complete Delivery Address
Customers must provide accurate delivery details, including:
- Full name of the recipient.
- Complete delivery address (House/Flat No., Street, Area, Landmark, etc.).
- Correct PIN code.
- Valid mobile number.
Orders with incomplete or incorrect delivery information may be delayed, cancelled, or returned. In such cases, the advance payment remains non-refundable.
5. Open Delivery
Open Delivery is not available.
- Courier partners do not allow packages to be opened before payment is completed.
- Customers must first pay the remaining COD amount to the courier and then open the package.
6. Delivery Attempts
Courier partners generally make multiple delivery attempts based on their service policy.
If the customer:
- Refuses delivery,
- Is unavailable during delivery attempts,
- Provides incorrect contact information,
- Requests cancellation after dispatch,
the shipment may be returned to MySpareMarket (RTO), and the advance amount will not be refunded.
7. Right to Refuse Partial COD
MySpareMarket reserves the right to:
- Disable Partial COD for customers with repeated cancellations or order refusals.
- Reject Partial COD requests for selected PIN codes, products, or high-risk orders.
- Request full prepaid payment for future orders if necessary.
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Partial COD facility at any time without prior notice.
8. Other Payment Methods
This policy applies only to Partial COD orders.
Orders placed using Prepaid, Pay After Delivery, or any other payment method are governed by their respective payment terms and refund policies.
9. Customer Acceptance
By selecting the Partial COD payment option and paying the applicable advance amount (₹200, ₹500, ₹1000 depending on the order value), you acknowledge that:
You have read and understood this policy.
You agree to all the terms and conditions mentioned above.
You understand that the advance payment is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
